Fat answers to fat loss. Gland tissue is a hormone driven increase in breast gland tissue, per Mayo Clinic, and it is not the tissue that weight loss removes.</div></details><details><summary>Can my medications be causing this?</summary><div class="acv-a">Often, yes. Bring the whole list and let the prescriber decide.</div></details><details><summary>Is gynecomastia a sign of breast cancer?</summary><div class="acv-a">Johns Hopkins Medicine says gynecomastia is not linked to breast cancer, and that breast cancer is rare in people with a penis. A provider may still order tests to rule it out. Mayo Clinic names nipple discharge, a firm or hard lump and dimpled skin as reasons to be seen.</div></details><details><summary>How long does it last?</summary><div class="acv-a">Johns Hopkins Medicine says cases that start in puberty usually get better on their own in 6 months to 2 or 3 years.
